I am many things. A wife and mother; a teacher and forever student; a very “left brain” thinker; a lover of butter, coffee, coconut oil and grass fed beef. I am into coffee with butter and MCT oil and lots of vitamins. I am not a lover of socks and shoes and I am all for homeschooling or unschooling. I love interval training workouts and yoga.
I am on a quest to better my health and that of my family through nutrition and creating a greener environment. Call it crunchy, call it hippie…I don’t care. If it will possibly keep me healthy and live longer I will give it a shot, at least once! Maybe things will work out, maybe not but at least I have tried. For me with all this knowledge comes a price…I can never go back and unlearn things I now know.
I live in Canada, and we are lucky to have a great supply of grass fed beef, pastured chickens, turkeys and pigs but our government has set up laws against dairy from grass fed cows and raw milk. Now, I am sure there are some little farms out there but to find them is a bit tricky. So…we are always looking for family to help import our beloved Kerrygold butter from the USA!
I love to cook and bake. I love to share the knowledge I have learned to whoever will listen, and sometimes I will tell you even if you aren’t listening. I think it is important for us to listen to our bodies and see what we are doing to our planet. We need to work together to take care of it and ourselves.
